About Me
I love how demanding, fun, exciting, stressful the corporate world can be.
I know what it feels like to know in your gut you are in the wrong role but don’t know where to go next. I also know what it feels like to know deep down what you want to do (or don't want to do) but have no idea how to get there.
As a single parent in a foreign country, I had to earn more to support myself and my 3 kids. I studied successful people and implementing their strategies. I started seeing results almost immediately: promotions every 18 months and doubling my salary every 5 years. I shared what I have learned with others, and they got results.
Now I want to share what I know with as many people as possible, so that you don't have to struggle with the unknown but skip to the good part!!

Navigating Life's Demands: Staying Balanced and Guilt-Free
I put my kids in a box. It was a bigger box when they were little but now it is a bit smaller.
I had a chat with Creswell Casey earlier this week and he asked me, how do I separate my full time job, from my passion project Tech coaching, from my family and fitness... while still giving everyone the attention they need and deserve.
In my mind I put everything in boxes. I see my days and life divided into different size boxes. Kids have a box, my partner has a box, my career has a box, writing has a box, coaching has a box, the gym has a box ……
These boxes grow and shrink over time as my life changes. For example, my kids had a bigger box when they were younger but now that they are older and have their own lives, their box is a little smaller (It doesn’t mean I love them less, it means they need less time from me ❤️)
It was always important to me to be more than just one thing. I didn’t want my life to fall apart when my kids move out of the house because they were my entire life. Or for everything to come to an end if I lost my job, because work was the only thing I had going for me.
It's a way I ensure, I have a fulfilling life even when one of the boxes has to shrink or be empty for a little while.
It helps me to feel more balanced and less guilty. I know when I am at work and I work hard, I don’t have to feel guilty for not being a perfect mum because they have their allocated time when they will be the focus. Same for when I spend time with the family, I can enjoy it because I know I gave 100% while I was at work.
It also keeps me accountable when it is late at night and I know I haven’t written for a while, to sit down and write the blog.
